Gaslog has been designed to provide gas and liquid distribution companies with a low risk telemetry system. Gaslog complies with international standards for safety, radio communications and telephony. It is designed to integrate into the global cellular, telephone and internet telecommunication networks. It has product approvals from the major international certifying agencies and relationships with the largest telecommunications suppliers in three continents.

ISO 9001 Quality System
Silicon Controls operates under an ISO 9001 Quality system assessed by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance (LRQA). LRQA is accredited by UKAS Quality Management, the government appointed accreditation body for the United Kingdom responsible for providing accreditation of conformity for assessment bodies in the fields of certification and inspection. Accreditation by UKAS demonstrates the competence and independence of these assessment bodies.
As part of the IEC Ex, ATEX and UL hazardous area product certification schemes, Silicon Controls' global manufacturing sites are audited by SIRA, UL and ITACS/TUV at least once every year. These audits ensure that products are being manufactured in accordance with the designs approved by the relevant certifying body. Customers can thus be confident that products designed and manufactured by Silicon Controls may be safely deployed in the hazardous areas for which their use is approved.
